Artist's Comments

Same carnivorous, volatile silicon-based life form as before, slightly different design. Scrapped the upside-down, floating larva concept for now, while the adult form has a flatter, heavier body, 3 pairs of legs instead of 2, and a lower center of gravity, making it an even more powerful killing machine.

Tail nozzle still sprays corrosive, highly toxic chemicals. Euuurgh.

How big is it? could an Apache take it out? I picture it being about 15 feet long, but what size did u intend it to be?

Nasty little bugger, huh? Nice job. Your work on weapons makes me very jealous.

Queen of the Dorks,

Hence the "ette" and not just "Dork"

...

Although, then it would be King Dork

...

Change that to "Lady Dorkette1990"

So it is a meat eater or does it like to feed other types of silica to sustain/heal itself?
:iconbiometal79:
I think it should be a meat eater, gaining most of its nutrients from that. They also strictly prefer moving "food", which makes them so dangerous. For the silicon components, they are sometimes gulping down some sand, should suffice for building their exoskeleton ;)

Time is running out for planet Earth!

Lovely! I can see an Ops team thinking they need to consider a new line of work when they have to clear out an infestation of these little beasties from a glass works. :ohmygod:
