Hi again!
Made a 3d model of your remington sniper rifle. Hope you like it ^_^…
The357 Featured By Owner Dec 15, 2015
Designs are very nice and the art itself too! I must say though, that looks like a suppressor on the Colt. I don't think silencers have been invented yet. = ) Not my thing really, but this one has a good point since firearm can't really be made silent.

Good set.

Wesome guns!
Naphaneal Featured By Owner Nov 26, 2013
the knife looks exactly like the first issue of the Eickhorn KM2000 without the serrated part.

which is why i have issues with this outcome. I'd had drawn a different blade, one that would have been double edged, and pointier.

the rest of the arsenal is superb.

You could sell a sprue of these in 28mm...
Wolfrage76 Featured By Owner Apr 5, 2013

Sorry but I'm going to have to criticize only because you used the word "clip" instead of "magazine" for all of those descriptions. The 2 are not the same, and the words are not interchangeable. other than that, those weapons look pretty nice, but if someone were to consider actually making them, they would run into quite a few mechanical flaws that would require drastic redesign to address and correct the issues.
biometal79 Featured By Owner Jan 9, 2010
"Clip" is Shadowrun terminology. I just wanted to go with the setting back then.
I'm aware what the difference between a clip and a magazine is. In Shadowrun however, all magazines are called clips for some reason, maybe because the terminology changed in the year 2050. Who knows.

As for mechanical authenticity and functionality... in RPG illustrations, it's always form over function. They would still seem believable to most people who are not complete and total gun nuts (like us?)

LOL!!! Fair enough man :) Although I would argue that the mixed terminology is due to ignorant game developers more than anything else. And totally agree with the last statement. We tend to get a little picky with stuff that we know will not function hehe.

HK227: Heckler & Koch Model 227
Mossberg SM-CMDT: SM=Smartgun Link, don't know what CMDT means

Nice images, but doesn't look like the Shadowrun-Guns (especially the Colt L36 is very different).
biometal79 Featured By Owner Sep 29, 2009
CMDT: I don't know either.
I redesigned the Colt because the original was hideously ugly.
fexes Featured By Owner Sep 29, 2009
Yes, that's true.

Mossberg SM-CMDT
what do these letters stand for?
biometal79 Featured By Owner Apr 6, 2009
No idea, these weapons are in the courtesy of the FASA corporation, original creators of Shadowrun. FASA is dead now, btw.
thatguyisawesome Featured By Owner Aug 25, 2008

Any pics of SR's AK-97?
biometal79 Featured By Owner Oct 23, 2007
Nope, because I suppose it looks exactly like contemporary models. There's not much difference beetween ak47, ak74 oder the newer ak100somethings (don't know the number anymore). It's a proven and seemingly indestructible design copied by dozens. Why should anyone change it?

They all look great, but aren't you forgetting to credit someone? (Referring to the Colt)
biometal79 Featured By Owner Sep 16, 2007
huh? I don't think so. link?
SnipaMasta Featured By Owner Sep 17, 2007   Interface Designer

It looks fairly similar to this. I guess it could just be coincidence, but the slide and grip look practically identical.

Love to get my hands on that HK SMG.

The Remington 950 is excellent for popping mages at a distance.
The Mossberg SM-CMDT all time fav for dealing with troll, orcs, the assorted beasties and the ocassional white sale.
And the Colt L36, HK227, and a good Dicote Tanto for triple coupon day at the local Stuffer Shak .
